I'm going to close this Live journal down, I feel it's served it's purpose and it is time for me to let go of it as past baggage and move on. the event was fun and I caught up with people i'd not seen in literally yeas, in fact two old frien ds showed up from about 10 years back and it was wonderful to see them even if i didn't recognise them at first.
The slapping dance shall ermain with me for a long time.
on another note, I shall be closing this account soon.
Life is in limbo and i feel it is time to move on. |

I'm going.
I could sit at home to mope to prove a point but it really wouldn't help anythin, so I'm going to Sirens Call, I enjoy it far to much to miss it.
right now to pack and read plot.. ~The teen will be crewing instead of playing. that will make a point right? |

I'm not going to sirens call and i really hate this fact. I want to be there with my mates at the gorgious site and just have huge fun role playing but mostly catching up with many folks I have grown to care about over the years. They are good people, good friends who have been with me through the ups and down of the past 16 or so years and they are always able to make me laugh and enjoy the world that little bit more. Most are married now with famlies of their own so this event is usually the only one we can all really catch up on. why am not going? well some steps and statements needed to be made to a certain teen but sadly "grounding" is often harder on the parent. |

Maelstrom on a whole was marvelous fun, I arrived on site Tuesday night and left early Monday evening and enjoyed 99.9% of the event. |
